Hi there, thanks for stopping by!
In 2005 I began my first job as a carpenter at RepStage in Howard County, MD, and fell in love. I continued to freelance full time in the DC/MD area, working primarily as a carpenter, scenic artist, and props master. As I have grown professionally I have steadily honed my skill set to focus on what I do best, which is facilitating the successful completion of complex, multi-step projects.

In 2008 I decided to further my development as an artist, enrolling at UMBC and graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2011 with a B.A. in Design and Production as well as an MSDE Certification in Secondary Education. I began working at the Carver Center for Arts and Technology as a Production Adviser, and eventually went on to become an instructor for the Design & Production Program. In 2013, I enrolled at UNCSA and graduated with an MFA in Properties Direction and Management in May 2016. Over the years I have come to realize that while I take great pride in my work as an artisan, I thoroughly enjoy and excel at sorting through challenging and demanding projects as a leader and an educator. Managing large groups of individuals with the dual focus of maximizing the potential of the those involved and the quality of work produced is not only a strength for me, but also a source of professional pride. In pursuit of that passion, I am currently the lead instructor of a Design and Production magnet program at Annapolis High School in MD, and spend my summers working as a Production Manager for professional companies.

Within this portfolio you will find a sampling of process photographs and final shots of selected works as well as my resume. A CV is available upon request, as are proof of applicable certifications.

I hope you enjoy my work!
